We refer to our entire Cub Scout congregation as the Pack. Within the pack, we have smaller groups divided by school grade which we call dens. Each den has a unique name (mostly) based on Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book.
Kindergarten - Lions
1st Grade - Tigers
2nd Grade - Wolves
3rd Grade - Bears
4th Grade - Webelo
5th Grade - Arrow of Light
The leader over all of the pack is the Cubmaster. The Cubmaster may have one or more assistants.
Each Den has a Den Leader. Den leaders may also have assistants.
We also have other adult leaders in the pack that form the Pack Committee. The committee is responsible for the administrative duties of the pack such as enrollment, finances, and event planning.
The number of times we meet varies month to month, but Pack 85 tries to adhere to the following each month:
1 Pack Meeting
1 Den Meeting
1 Activity
Den meetings are where your scout and their same age peers all work on earning their adventure beltloops (or pins for Webelos and AoL). One or more den meetings will be planned around the activities required to earn that particular adventure.
Pack meetings are when all the dens come together. We start out with a fun gathering activity, before formally starting the meeting with a flag ceremony. Any scouts that have earned any achievements will be recognized. Each pack meeting has a theme with a special activity or guest. We conclude our meetings with a snack.
We have a few pack meetings that don't follow the normal agenda.
Because October is already so packed with Popcorn Sales and Fall Camping, we skip our normal Pack Meeting and instead host a Trunk or Treat for the community. Any scouts that received an achievement will be recognized in November.
Our 5th Grade Webelos do their best to earn their Arrow of Light Rank by February. This is the last award they receive as a Cub Scout and a special ceremony is held, where they crossover from Cub Scouts to Scouts BSA. Members of one or more Scout BSA Troops will be in attendance to welcome the scouts into their troop. From Crossover until June, Webelos are welcome to participate in both Pack events as well as Troop events as they transition.
Everyone's favorite event! The Pinewood Derby is a huge event and so it has a special agenda dedicated to the event. We try to start as early as possible (we have to wait for Kid's Club to finish at 6:30 before we can start setting up) and the race takes a little longer than our typical 1 hour meeting.

The full uniform consists of the following. Pack 85 recommends the items in bold:
Hat - Changes each year with the Rank. AoL uses the Scouts BSA hat.
Shirt - Lions have a T-shirt. Tigers, Wolves and Bears wear the blue button up uniform. Webelos can choose to stay in blue or change to tan top worn by AoL and Scouts BSA.
Neckerchief and Slide - Changes along with the hat.
Pants (or Shorts or Skort) - Our pack is not strict on owning a pair of official uniform bottoms.
Belt - While not required, cub scouts earn about 5 beltloops each year that can be adorned to the belt.
