Show and Sells

Sign up for your time slots

All returning Scouts are asked to participate in two Show & Sell shifts. Each shift is two hours long and takes place on Fridays from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

This year's Show & Sell events will be held over three weekends:

• September 26–27 (No Friday, just Saturday and Sunday)

• October 2–4 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)

• October 9–11 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)

Families with multiple Scouts are only required to sign up for one additional Show & Sell shift for each Scout after the first. For example, a family with three Scouts is only required to sign up for four shifts, not six.

When signing up for a shift, please keep the following in mind:

• If you are scheduled for the first shift of the day, you will need to pick up the popcorn, table, cash box, and other supplies from the Popcorn Kernel. To make things easier, you can usually pick them up the evening before.

• If there is no Scout scheduled after your shift, you will be responsible for packing up and returning all supplies to the Popcorn Kernel.

To help make the schedule run smoothly, we strongly encourage families to choose shifts that do not create gaps in the schedule. Gaps make it more difficult for everyone involved, so we may ask you to adjust your shift time or location if needed.
