The first step everyone should take is to download the TrailsEnd App and register if you haven't already. The app is crucial to popcorn sales. From there you can sign up for show and sells, enter take-home orders, and make sales.
All returning scouts are asked to participate in 2 show and sell shifts. Shifts are 2 hours long between 8AM and 6PM. This year the show and sells will happen on the weekends of September 26 - October 12.
To sign up for your slots, sign on to the Trails End App or goto portal.trails-end.com
If you are a family with multiple scouts, then you are only required to sign up for 1 additional shift per scout after the first. For example, the Linne family of 3 are only required to sign up for 4 shifts, not 6.
When signing up for a shift please note that if you are the first shift, you must first pick up the popcorn, table, cashbox, etc from the Popcorn Kernel (Colonel). To make things easier you can usually do that the night before. If there isn't anyone scheduled for the shift after you, then you must pack up and bring everything back to the Kernel's. It's for this reason that we highly encourage to sign up for time slots that wont create gap. Gaps in the schedule are a real pain for everyone. We may ask for you to move a shift or change a location to help with this.
